I went to see Jay with a crazy idea about modifying rings that my partner and I have been wearing for 12 years to commemorate our actual wedding in a month. My wife and I hahave been around town, trying to get an appraisal on her engagement ring, we went to 6 major brand jewelry store and none of them were honest, helpful or available to have an appraisal done for us the same day. Then we found Latif Jeweler in Sunrise, next to the Sawgrass mall. We went there and Jay Latif was there and he was extremely helpful and explain the whole process and did the appraisal for us the same time. I would definitely recommend his store to anyone who wants an honest jeweler. Or ask for Jacky.
We brought my wife's rings in to have them laser welded and the work done was superb! The rings look flawless and the turn around time was beyond exceptional; the rings were ready the same day, within a couple of hours.
I stopped in this lovely store today, and they were gracious enough to tighten the stone in my mom's ring for me. That was it. That was all i needed. While I waited I looked at their styles and designs. This is a beautiful store with jewelry that has clean lines. Every piece of jewelry nicer then the last I looked at. You know how some jewelry just talks to you, calls your name and you have to have it. Well, if you walk into this store, start looking around and don't hear jewelry calling your name, it's time to get your hearing checked. I feel that they could make anything anyone could want. I would skip Jared and paying extra for a mane imprinted on a box and come here where you can see the talent of the designer the minute you start looking around. No, I'm not related and not friends with anyone in this store. I'm just someone who appreciates quality in a world of inferior, cheap China made jewelry.
Latif’s is simply the BEST! I’m not an expert on jewelry however the staff was extremely helpful and patient. I described the style ring I was looking for and within a few days, they had the ring ready and it was better than I imagined.
